DO I HAVE TO PAY A FEE?
Absolutely not! You are our Field Employee!
WHO PAYS ME?
We do. We send you out on assignments (for which you are fully qualified ) to
companies who pay us for your services. We in turn pay you for every hour worked
(excluding lunch hours). We make all of the usual income tax and Social Security
deductions and any other City, State or Federal deductions required by law. The Field
Employee understands that the furnishing of accurate information to the employer for the
purposes of receiving compensation is essential and that the furnishing of false
information for the purpose of receiving compensation from the employer is fraudulent.
HOW DO I GET PAID?
You are paid on the basis of the authorized hours listed on your time sheet. Be sure
to use a different time sheet for each new assignment. (If you have 2 assignments in the
same work week, you must submit 2 time sheets.) Alterations will void a time
sheet. If you make a mistake, do not cross it out and write over it. Make a
new time sheet. (If you do not have a time sheet for an assignment, call Empire for
instructions.) Once you start working with us, you will receive a new time sheet
with your paycheck. To insure proper processing, remember to use this time sheet and turn
it in on time.
HOW
DO I RECEIVE NEW ASSIGNMENTS?
One of our Service Coordinators will call you as soon as we find a suitable assignment for
you. If you do not hear from one of our Service Coordinators, it is a good idea to
stay in touch and call us occasionally between 8:00am and 6:00pm. At the end of each
assignment you must CALL EMPIRE IMMEDIATELY AT (516) 487-1147.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME AS AN
EMPLOYEE?
Just as we are responsible for you and to you, you have duties to us and to our clients...
the companies to which you are assigned. Your responsibilities pertain to job
performance, appearance and conduct. In all matters, let common sense, fair play and
good taste be your guides. |
